The Obsidian Fund is a London‑based venture capital firm to be adminstered by Steven Bartlett’s Flight Fund, it will empower and fund 5.994 entrepreneurs in its first round.

Mission and Focus:

The firm deliberately invests in underrepresented entrepreneurs across the UK — especially people of colour and women—responding to the historical underinvestment these groups face. At launch, less than 4% of VC funding went to women-led teams and under 1% to people of colour.

Note.

Funding will not be made available to beauty, haircare, personal training or fashion businesses and will instrad focus on retail, technology, media, app based businesses, etc.
