Northrup will purchase ZOOX, Zoox is an American autonomous vehicle company, founded in 2014 and acquired by Amazon in 2020, dedicated to developing fully autonomous, all-electric, "purpose-built" robotaxis.

Unlike competitors that retrofit existing cars, ZOOX creates vehicles designed from scratch specifically for driverless, ride-hailing services, a purpose built manufactering and maintenance facility as well as an office campus will be built in Lagos in a new city, ZOOX will also expand into SUV’s, saloons, bicycles, prams and clothing.
