Northrup to invest in Nigeria and African sport, polo, tennis etc to be invested in.

Sport is very important in Africa, Northrup through the African Investment Fund will be investing in new amenities and sports for Nigeria’s populace, the same will be done in all 54 African countries, which are unique in terms of language, culture and histories.

Sport is profoundly important in Africa, serving as a powerful engine for economic growth, social development, and national unity. With a market value exceeding $12 billion and growing, it acts as a tool for youth empowerment, health improvement, and fostering community cohesion, while also driving investment in infrastructure and tourism.

Northrup will be investing in the following areas.

Polo

Areas which will house polo grounds and stables will be sought throughout Nigeria and near or in the new city, Polo is a team sport played on horseback where players use long-handled mallets to hit a ball into a goal.

The sport is popular in certain circles and we aim to make it more mainstream in Africa, with events and aim to found around seven teams and grounds, with one body overseeing the sport in the country, we will work with Guards Polo Club, as well as admins based in Argentina, The United States and Dubai who will operate the teams.

Basketball

Basketball is a sport played mainly in The United States and Europe where it is very popular, we have partnered with the NBA or National Basketball Association who will build a new office or sky scraper in the new city, from where the new Nigerian Basketball League or NBL can be administrated and the whole continent can be reached.

Northrup will invest in seventeen of the most modern and new stadiums in Nigeria and found seventeen new teams, operators or owners in The United States and Europe will be found i.e. the Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets or Panathinaikos Athens based in Greece.

Tennis

New tennis arenas will be founded which will be akin to and operated by Wimbledon & Rolland Garros, there will be one in every African country, so the sport can be fostered and encouraged among Africa’s young people.

There will also be a new tennis academy operated by The Mouratoglou Tennis Academy which will under many new names operate in every country in Africa, a place where students of tennis can go to board and hone their talent.

Olympic Parks

It is proposed there will be four new Olympic parks on the continent of Africa, the first will be in Nigeria, these will have venues for all Olympic sports and maintained before and after use for the public to use.

Nigeria Yacht Club

As there will be a new marina in the new city where yachts will be moored, a marina which will rival Monaco or Marina Del Rey in California will be built, for people to come to the city and sightsee, relax, shop, visit the world’s tallest building, meet new people and vacation etc.

There will be regatta’s, sailing and rowing events, which will entice local and international people, there will also be a Lagos Boat Race,

The Nigerian Yacht club will be operated by Royal Cork Ireland and St Francis Yacht Club USA and will be in a premises overlooking the marina.
